Connacht behemoth Bundee Aki posts classy message after monster carry injures Glasgow duo

It was a moment that not only set the tone for the biggest win in the history of Connacht rugby, but also encapsulated the startling rise that the province has enjoyed this season.
Pro12 Players' Player the Year Bundee Aki has trucked over opponent after opponent every single weekend and the opening salvo of last Saturday's Pro12 semi-final against Glasgow was no different.
So much of what is great about Pat Lam's side comes from their all-rounder in the centre and his first carry of the 16-11 win proved as destructive as any run he has embarked on in the green jersey.
Aki exploded over the gain line in Connacht's first attack, but the carnage left in his wake proved far more significant than the metres made.
Glasgow lost prop Zander Ferguson after his attempted tackle, but more importantly, star out-half Finn Russell was also removed with a suspected concussion.
Russell's playmaking qualities thrive in the Glasgow backline and although Duncan Weir was a solid replacement for the starting ten, Gregor Townsend's charges definitely missed the spark that their injured out-half provides.
Despite flattening two opponents, there was no celebrating from Aki and last night he reached out to Russell on social media to offer his wish for a speedy recovery.
