Conan calls for patience as Leinster bid to bounce back
History would suggest that Leinster should get their first win of the season this evening, but form would say otherwise.
Cardiff Blues are full of confidence after hammering Zebre but a much tougher task lies ahead at the RDS.
Jack Conan has called for patience but admitted that his side face a "massive" test as they look to ensure that the Blues don't pick up their first win in Dublin in 11 years.
"You have to appreciate that there are new players in here and you have to allow for the fact that there were new caps, starting and coming off the bench," the No 8 said.
"We had a good look at Cardiff. They have some good-quality players, so we know it is going to be a massive competition at the RDS."
Leo Cullen has made four changes to the side that lost in Edinburgh, with the highly-rated Garry Ringrose making his first start for the province.
Ringrose's Ireland U-20 team-mate Ross Molony does likewise in the second-row, while Josh van der Flier and Dominic Ryan also come in.
Leinster need a win to kick-start their season but against a high-flying Cardiff side, they won't have it all their own way.
