First blow to Ireland as Warren Gatland smacks his head getting off team bus

Published 08/02/2014 | 16:05

Ireland might have won on the pitch at the Aviva but it appears the day didn’t get off to a great start for Wales - or at least for their coach, Warren Gatland.

As Gatland stepped off the bus at Aviva he appeared to wallop his  head off the mirror of his team’s bus.

It was a bad start to his return to the Aviva and it didn't get any easier as Ireland took control of their grudge match Six Nations encounter.

Ireland eventually ran out 26-3 winners and are on track for a Triple Crown if they beat England in two weeks' time.
