Crescent over the moon as Frawley's crucial try earns semi-final spot

Crescent Comp 7
Rockwell 0
Munster junior cup quarter-finals

A well-worked try three minutes before the interval earned Crescent Compre-hensive a place in the semi-finals at Dooradoyle yesterday.

Rockwell dominated early on but once Crescent settled they might have gone in front but a penalty by Gary O'Shea from 35 metres was just wide.

But Crescent created the first major attacking move of the game and, as it turned out, it provided the clinching score.

Gerard Lyons, Gary O'Shea and Greg Barry all combined to send Jack Frawley in the left corner after he had come off his right wing position.

Flanker Diarmuid Dee superbly added the conversion from the touchline.
