Connacht's best signings
1 Ray Ofisa: A cult hero among Connacht supporters, the Samoan flanker was one of the most effective tacklers in the country in the five years he spent out west after joining the province from North Otago in 2007. Had his share of injuries but never gave less than 100pc in a green jersey.
2 Brett Wilkinson: One of Connacht's most consistent performers, the prop who arrived in 2006 from South Africa (Cape Town), qualified for Ireland through residency and is about to embark on his first senior tour.
3 Andrew Farley: Quality Australian second-row and rallying figure who became a respected captain during six years' service out west.
4 George NaoupU: New Zealand-born No 8 who had a fantastic first season before departing for Japan and then returning.
5 Tim AllnutT: Accomplished Kiwi centre who gave his best years to the province, became captain and took over as manager after retiring.
And five who didn't cut it: Fabien Boiroux, Barry Fa'amausili, Andrew Mailei, Pieter Myburgh, Gavin Shoeman.
