Former Connacht prop and new Buccaneers coach Brett Wilkinson has had an instant impact at Dubarry Park and he'll be hoping to enhance his side's promotion charge up the table in the coming weeks.

And the Buccs will look to build on their early-season form in the Ulster Bank League Division 1B, when they host St Mary's at the Athlone venue.

Buccaneers are fourth in the standings, and have notched up three bonus points along the way, and look as though they will push for promotion in 2015-16.

In the top tier, Galwegians return to action at Dooradoyle where they face Garryowen. 'Wegians were unstoppable in Round 4 as they breezed past reigning champions Lansdowne, 41-20 at Crowley Park.

It was deserved victory after a tough few weeks in the league, when Matt Brown's men came up short away to Terenure and Old Belvedere.

Garryowen will have revenge on their minds after their final day clash at Crowley Park last season - 'Wegians won that 17-13 to gain automatic promotion.

In Division 2A, Corinthians travel to take on Nenagh Ormond at New Ormond Park. Corinthians are bottom of the table but picked up a vital win over Thomond in Round 4.

In 2C, Sligo are ninth, and make the journey to Merrion Road where they face Wanderers tomorrow.
