Top Oil will continue as the official fuel supplier of the province, and sponsors of the Connacht Junior and Senior Schools Cup competitions.

Speaking at the sponsorship announcement, Clíona Ní Mhurchú, regional sales manager for Top Oil, welcomed the renewal of the partnership.

"Top Oil is very proud to renew its sponsorship with Connacht Rugby during a very exciting time for rugby in the region," she said.

"This partnership is a natural fit for us, as Connacht is a key region for our business and we are aware of the importance of sport in the local community.

"Over the past two years as official fuel sponsor, we have watched the Connacht Rugby team go from strength to strength in every game, and we are delighted to have been part of their journey so far.

"The drive, passion and ambition which has led to Connacht Rugby's recent successes has also been inspirational to our own team at Top Oil."

EXCITED

And following on from last year's successful schools' competitions that saw Colaiste Iognaid reclaim the senior title and Marist College Athlone take the junior honours, Ní Mhurchú is excited by the latest link up.

"Our sponsorship of Connacht Schools Cup Competitions is also very important to Top Oil. This sponsorship gives us the opportunity to invest in the development of young talent at a grassroots level in Connacht," she said.
