I was born in Taunton, Somerset in England. I started playing rugby for Towcestrians rugby club at U-11s in Northamptonshire.
My dad and I were season ticket holders at Northampton Saints for four years. I moved back to Ireland when I was 13 years old with my parents and younger sister.
I went to Cistercian College Roscrea for six years and played club rugby for Ballinasloe between that.
I moved from centre to back-row when I was 15. I have been capped for Ireland at U-19 level. I joined the Connacht Academy in 2014.
Favourite Connacht game: Mine would be against Munster last season on New Year's Day. It was a great game to watch and a brilliant win.
Connacht outplayed Munster on the park and really put it up to their key players such as Paul O'Connell or Peter O'Mahony.
Most memorable match: Leinster Schools Senior Cup against Blackrock in 2013 for Roscrea, one of the best atmospheres I have ever played in and also there was great hype about the match also.
Favourite ground: Thomond Park, due to how big the stadium is and also the fact that so many iconic players and big matches have been played on it. I played there last season for the U-20s and the Eagles team.
