The 2014 Rugby Excellence Training Camps are professionally coached camps for 13-15-year-olds and aim to bring emerging rugby players to the next level with training and coaching in fields such as tactical awareness, nutrition and conditioning.

There were five Excellence Camps across the province - Castlebar, Loughrea, Galway, Sligo & Tuam - throughout the month of August.

The camps were created in conjunction with senior Connacht coaches and are designed to expand five key areas: skills, tactics, positional expertise, conditioning & nutrition and knowledge to achieve rugby excellence.
