Connacht Rugby, in association with Galway Free Range Eggs, will be hosting three-day Easter Rugby Camps for boys and girls aged between six and 12 years old next month.

The three events will take place in Castlebar RFC (April 11-13), Dangan Sports Facilities in NUIG (April 11-13) and Loughrea RFC (April 18-20) and cost just €50.

The camps will be run from 9.30am until 2.0pm, with a 9.0am start on the first day for registration.

Connacht Rugby coaching staff will guide the children through fun games and activities over the three days with each child receiving a complimentary rugby ball on the final day.

No rugby experience is necessary to attend, the Easter Camps are an introduction to the game of rugby in a safe and controlled manner and will be managed by fully-accredited IRFU coaches.

Children who participate in the camps will get the chance to make new friends and learn more about rugby values such as teamwork, commitment and integrity.

They will also become more aware of the importance of physical fitness and will learn to develop the basic rugby skills of passing, tackling, evasion and kicking and perhaps most of all have a lot of fun.

Places can be booked on the Connacht Rugby website.
