Player of the Year set to be revealed

Connacht Rugby supporters have been voting all week, but tomorrow their Player of the Year will be unveiled at the annual end-of-season Awards Gala, which takes place at the Bailey Allen Hall, NUI Galway.
Captain John Muldoon and his fellow pack members Aly Muldowney, Denis Buckley and Ultan Dillane go head-to-head for the main award along with backs Bundee Aki, Tiernan O'Halloran and Matt Healy.
Thousands of votes were cast by fans for the LifeStyle Sports-sponsored award via an online voting page and the winner will be named at the gala ceremony tomorrow.
In total 18 awards will be presented on the night to mark the achievements of players, referees and coaches of junior, club, youth and women's rugby.
The Players' Player of the season as voted by the Connacht senior squad will be awarded on the night as well as the Team Man of the Year, Fans' Player of the Year, Try of the Year and an award for Outstanding Contribution to Rugby.
Buckley, Muldoon and Finlay Bealham have been nominated in the Forward of the Year category, while Aki, O'Halloran and Healy vie for the Back of the Year gong.
Ireland Women's internationals Sene Naoupu and Mairead Coyne and Connacht front-row Laura Feely have been nominated for the Women's Player of the Year after a great season for all three.
In the Academy player of the Year category, centre Peter Robb, and back-rows Sean O'Brien and James Connolly have been nominated, while Club of the Year will be either Westport, Ballina or NUIG.
