The more Connacht keep winning matches, in this style, and using their academy players coming through, the more Connacht players we will see playing international rugby, writes Johnny O'Connor.

It's remarkable to see the province flying so high in the Pro12 and in Europe, but it's down to the work that allows the academy players come through and train with the senior players which keeps everyone on the same wavelength.

When guys are parachuted into the big matches they are supremely confident. Everyone knows their role and they go out and perform the duty expected by the player that fills the jersey.

Connacht aren't using the same players week in, week out, and it would be impossible for the team to keep on winning if all of the squad didn't buy into the philosophy, including the younger guys.

Peter Robb and Sean O'Brien were brilliant last weekend. And Eoin McKeon came in, not knowing he was even starting until just before the game.

He slotted in and won man of the match because he was just filling the jersey for the day. The players can do no wrong at the moment.
