When did you join Connacht?
In the summer of 2013.
What do you do?
I oversee the finance function of Connacht Rugby, working closely with all departments to ensure we are maintaining budgets and attaining the best utilisation of resources. I am assisted by my two valuable colleagues in the finance department.
What's a typical day like?
There is no typical day. Each day involves interacting with the various members of each department, answering queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
We have a number of days each month revolving around closing out our month end and preparing reforecasts but outside these days I could be working on many varying ad-hoc requests.
What is the best part of your job?
I enjoy the interaction with all of my colleagues. I am very proud to play my part in assisting with the continuing growth and development across the various spectrums of the business.
I have seen significant improved changes across the entire organisation in the last few years and it is exciting to think of the future ahead of us.
Most memorable match?
Our win away to Toulouse was the most memorable during my time here. I also really enjoyed the New Year's Day victory over Munster this season.
