Connacht supporters without tickets for the crunch Pro12's clash at home to Glasgow Warriors had better move quickly, with just a few hundred tickets remaining for the tie in a fortnight's time.

It is almost certain that the Sportsground game will decide who gets a home play-off, and as a result there has been huge demand for the tickets.

Last week's inter-pro derby triumph over Munster at the College Road venue was attended by 7,786 supporters and was sold out well in advance.

An extra 500 tickets went on sale in comparison to the earlier inter-pro derby with Leinster, which was also a 7,300 sell-out.

By Wednesday afternoon more than 7,000 tickets had been sold for the visit of the champions, so those interested in seeing Connacht's last guaranteed home game of this record breaking season had better move quickly.

The Clan Stand and Main Stand have both already sold out for the top of the table clash, but tickets for both of the terraces at the College Road and Bohermore Road ends remain on sale.

Meanwhile, season tickets sales for the 2016-17 season are reported as brisk in the opening two weeks since going on sale.

Tickets for the Clan Stand have been selling particularly well, but a small number of those tickets remain on sale.

Tickets for the Glasgow Warriors game - starting at €20 for adults - and next season's season tickets can be purchased from the Connacht Rugby office, Centra and Super Valu stores province-wide as well as from www.tickets.ie.
