Three of the four Connacht sides will enjoy home advantage in the opening round of fixtures and will hope to make this advantage count in their season openers.

Galwegians will host Cork Constitution in their opening game in Division 1A.

Galwegians will go into the clash in confident mood having defeated Sligo in their final Connacht Senior League fixture last weekend, scoring seven tries in the process.

Their Galway neighbours, Corinthians, will kick off their UBL season with a challenging fixture against Queen's University.

Athlone will be the venue as Buccaneers host Munster rivals Shannon in Division 1B while Sligo begin life in the newly-formed Division 2C with a tricky away game against Navan RFC. All of this weekend's UBL fixtures will kick off at 2.30 tomorrow.
