Over 140 secondary schoolboys took part in a hugely successful U-14 regional blitz in Corinthian Park on Thursday.
Schools from all across Galway were represented, including the Bish, St Enda's and the Jes, Calasanctius Oranmore, St Jarlath's Tuam, Scoil Chuimsiteach Chiaráin Carraroe and St Paul's Oughterard.
Connacht club and community rugby officer Conor Galvin, who organised the event, said: "We've had some great support from the teachers in the schools involved.
"They've given up countless hours to ensure these young players get the best opportunity to enjoy the game at its best, culminating in events like this and when you see the enjoyment the players get out of playing against their peers it's definitely worth the effort."
Galvin also thanked the referees involved.
