St Paul’s, Oughterard U-14s celebrate their triumph

For the first time in its history St Paul's Secondary School, Oughterard has won a trophy for rugby.

The U-14s first/second year team won 10-5 in a terrifically hard fought and bruising encounter against a physical and well organised team from St Marys College Ballygar, Roscommon to win the Connacht SW U-14 league final.

The lads were even more delighted when Connacht Rugby's Jake Heenan presented them with their medals, as well as the Six Nations trophy.
