The English Premiership teams won't be back in action for another two weeks, but last weekend Connacht's next opponent Wasps showed they are a form team with a 31-6 victory over Newcastle at the Ricoh Arena.

As he often has been so far this season, Jimmy Gopperth was the hero for Wasps with two late tries that he converted himself, while his early penalty and a penalty try set Dai Young's side on the way to the win.

French clubs will play right through the November international window and for Connacht's pool rivals, Toulouse, a home clash with Castres tomorrow afternoon is a great chance for them to improve on their fifth position. Toulouse earned a rare away win in the Top 14 last time out when they came out the right side of a 24-20 scoreline away to Pau.

Jean-Marc Doussain's boot ensured they only briefly trailed in the first half after Daniel Ramsay's try for Pau, but tries from Thierry Dusautoir and Joe Tekori made sure that the four-time Heineken Cup winners took the honours.

Meanwhile, fresh from their first win of the season away to Edinburgh, Zebre will aim to turn over an Irish province in Parma when Leinster provide the opposition.

Gio Venditti's try helped the Italians to a 19-14 victory over Edinburgh, while the boot of Carlo Canna eventually saw them over the line at Murrayfield.
