Galwegians have lost their safety net at the bottom of the Ulster Bank League and face another crunch tie at home to Garryowen tomorrow at Crowley Park (2.30).
Galwegians remain just three points above bottom side Ballynahinch after last weekend's 29-13 defeat to Young Munster at Tom Clifford Park. That was their game in hand, and Terenure now have a game in hand over the Galway outfit.
Terenure are one place below them in the standings and can move ahead if they defeat league leaders UCD tonight.
In Division 1B Buccaneers travel to take on table-toppers St Mary's College at Templeville Road tomorrow. It will be a massive test for Brett Wilkinson's side, but they could go fourth with a win.
In 2A bottom side Corinthians travel to take on ninth-placed Thomond at Liam Fitzgerald Park in their key relegation battle.
Both sides have lost 11 games and won only three so far this season. However Corinthians need the victory more, and anything other than a win could spell disaster for them.
In 2C Sligo travel to clash with Midleton at Towns Park as they look to further their claims to stay in the league for next term. Sligo are two points ahead of bottom side Dundalk, but eight points behind Boyne, who are one place above them in the standings.
