Cork Con are themselves chasing a home semi-final in the play-offs at the top of the table, but Galwegians will need to upset the odds and post just their sixth win of the season.

However, even a win might not be enough with Terenure College in command of eighth place after their win in Crowley Park two weeks ago. They host Old Belvedere looking to secure their top-tier status.

Matt Brown's men will hope to replicate their final round in 2014-'15 in Division 1B. They hosted Garryowen needing to win to gain automatic promotion to 1A, and they obliged with two John Cleary tries helping them to a thrilling 17-13 victory.

While everything hinges on their game against Cork Con, fellow Connacht outfit Buccaneers travel to take on Shannon at Thomond Park, with the Pirates too far off the promotion places.

In Brett Wilkinson's first season coaching the Athlone outfit, they have been in mid-table throughout, although they have had some big wins in recent rounds.

They beat Old Wesley at Dubarry Park last time out, and a win at Shannon would be the ideal way to finish the season.
