On the eve of the defence of their Pro12 title, Connacht Rugby have announced the renewal of their partnership with Kinetica Sports for three more years.

Kinetica are the team's official sports nutrition partners, and after joining the Connacht family in 2013, they will continue to support the squad with a wide range of sports nutrition products for the next three seasons, including its specialised range of rugby supplements.

The announcement comes at an exciting time for both parties, following Connacht's most successful season to date in 2015/16, where they emerged as champions from a gruelling Pro12 campaign with victory over Leinster in May's Grand Final.

Similarly, Kinetica Sports has grown immensely over the past number of years to become one of the leading sports nutrition brands in Ireland, catering for all athletes from the avid gym goer to the professional competitor.

Gavin Duffy, sponsorship manager at Connacht, welcomed the announcement ahead of the Westerners' opening game of the season against Glasgow.

"We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Kinetica," said Duffy.

Productivity

"The high quality nutritional products they provide not only increase and maintain the productivity and energy levels of the players but also play a vital role in their recovery after training and games.''

Catherine O'Connor, brand coordinator at Kinetica Sports said she was delighted to renew the company's link with the team.

"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Connacht Rugby and we look forward to being a part of their journey for the future."
