The positive news on the field for Connacht Rugby is being mirrored off the pitch too, with confirmation that official transport partner Citylink have extended their sponsorship deal with the province.

Citylink and Connacht first became partners early in 2014, and since then the travel company have been proud transport partners.

As part of the renewed contract, a new co-branded Citylink-Connacht Rugby coach will take to the roads, and on days that the team do not need the vehicle, supporters can expect to see it commuting between Dublin airport and Galway.

So who knows, on your next visit to the airport you may be sitting in John Muldoon or Bundee Aki's seat!

"Citylink are delighted to be extending our partnership with Connacht Rugby as their official transport partner," said David Conway, general manager of Citylink.

"Our top-of-the-range luxury coaches and frequent direct services are a perfect match for a top-class rugby team. We look forward to welcoming the team and supporters on-board our coaches where they can relax and appreciate the facilities such as on-board toilets, free Wi-Fi and power sockets.

Irish Citylink has been providing inter-city luxury coach travel in Ireland since 2003. Based in Galway city, Irish Citylink operates six main routes offering 100 daily departures from Galway Coach Station.

They provide express services from Galway to Dublin City and Airport, Limerick, Cork City and Airport, as well as commuter services to Athlone, Dublin City and Airport, and Clifden.
