UL Bohemians are top of the table, and they are five points clear of Buccaneers. And they also have a superior scoring difference after winning their opening five games in this campaign.

But Buccaneers have been on form of late too, and they made it four wins from five this term when they registered an impressive 31-22 victory away to Dolphin at Irish Independent Park.

Elsewhere Galwegians continued to slide down the standings in Division 1B, falling to their fourth defeat of the season, ahead of their game against Ballynahinch at Crowley Park.

Scoring wasn't a problem for 'Wegians, for whom Rory Parata bagged two tries, while Ed O'Keefe and Barry Lee also touched down as they lost 35-25 against Old Wesley at Donnybrook.

Corinthians are at home to Malone at Corinthian Park tomorrow. The Galway outfit are eighth, with just one win from five games.

Corinthians were hammered 42-12 away to Queen's University in Dub Lane last weekend.

Sligo are up to sixth in Division 2C as they face Boyne at Shamrock Lodge tomorrow.

Sligo ground out a hard-fought 19-18 victory over Rainey at Hamilton Park on Saturday and they are still in the reckoning for promotion if they can continue their current form.
