Sponsor for a Day Winners to feature on Munster and Leinster Jerseys
Congratulations to Gahan Meats and Ryan Stoves, the winners of our Sponsor for a Day campaign with Bank of Ireland.
Two SMEs will see their logos on the Leinster and Munster Jerseys for next week's Heineken Cup matches.
Gahan Meats and Ryan Stoves were the winners of the Sponsor for a Day campaign organised by Bank of Ireland and Independent.ie, a competition which saw hundreds of small businesses compete to get their logos on the Munster or Leinster jerseys.
Gahan Meats were the Leinster winners and will see their logo on the Leinster jerseys for the match between Leinster and Ospreys at the RDS next Friday the 17th of January.
The winners are a third generation family run business who have supplied quality meat for over 60 years. The business is now run by Declan, Nigel and James Gahan. They have two retail shops; a factory shop at their head office in Finglas and a traditional butcher shop on Collins Avenue Killester.
“It is a true honour to have our family business associated with such a successful team as Leinster rugby,” said Nigel Gahan.
Ryan Stoves will sponsor the Munster players on their match against Edinburgh in Thomond Park Limerick, next Sunday the 19th of January.
The company is also a family run business involved in the stove and heating industry for the last two decades, showrooms on the old N7 from Limerick to Nenagh and the Parkway Shopping Centre in Limerick.
Managing director Larry Ryan said: “As a proud supporter and an ex-rugby player I often dreamed of playing in a Munster jersey. This is a perfect outlet to help us build awareness for our company."
