Bath and Munster could gain an early advantage for next season's European Champions Cup by being selected as top seeds at next week's pool stage draw.

Beaten Premiership finalists Bath and Pro12 runners-up Munster will join the losers of Saturday's Top 14 final in France in a draw to decide the final two top seeds for next term's Champions Cup.

Clermont take on Stade in France's Top 14 showpiece this weekend, with the winners joining English champions Saracens and Pro12 winners Glasgow among the five top seeds.

Two of the three league runners-up from England, France and the Pro12 will complete the set of top seeds, before the full pool draw takes place in Switzerland on Wednesday.

The Challenge Cup pool draws will also take place at Wednesday's event, hosted at the new headquarters of European Professional Club Rugby in Neuchatel.
