Head to Head
Juan Martin Hernandez v Jonathan Sexton
One is the most coveted out-half in European rugby, the other an Argentinean maestro capable of igniting a team performance with a deft chip or wondrous sleight of hand.
The folly of allowing Sexton's contract talks to drag on may come home to roost if the Dubliner can produce a sufficiently impressive performance that might make more than just Stade Francais prick up their ears at the availability of the Leinster star.
Leinster (10/11) are five-point favourites. They are 9/2 to win by between one and five points, while Luke Fitzgerald, desperately searching for form, is 9/1 to mark his resurrection with the game's first try.
Sean O'Brien's outstanding form in the competition is acknowledged by 7/1 favouritism to be the official man of the match.
50 Not Out
Shane Jennings will make his 50th Heineken Cup appearance and will be the 14th Leinster player to have reached the landmark, combining his games for Leinster (32 caps) and Leicester Tigers (17).
Jennings joins fellow 'Elite 50 Club' team-mates Shane Horgan (83), Gordon D'Arcy (73), Brian O'Driscoll (71), Leo Cullen (68) and Nathan Hines, whose total of 57 -- reached in last weekend's 43-20 victory over Saracens which helped secure Leinster's place in the Heineken Cup quarter-finals -- matched that of Trevor Brennan and Victor Costello.
