Munster legend Ronan O'Gara and his Racing 92 players paid tribute to Anthony Foley on a poignant afternoon at the Stade Yves-Du-Manoir.

O'Gara, who won two Heineken Cup crowns alongside Foley as a player, donned a red t-shirt with Anthony Foley's name and the iconic number 8 on the back during Racing's warm-up for today's Champions Cup clash.

The Pool One fixture was postponed last October after Munster head coach Anthony Foley died at the team hotel in the French capital on the morning of the game.

Munster and Racing fans greeted both sets of teams as they entered the stadium with Ronan O'Gara getting a huge ovation from members of the Red Army.

Racing unfurled two large banner ahead of the game. One will read 'AXEL', while the other says 'Red Army welcome back'.

Red smoke was also be released during a minute's applause ahead of the game in memory of 'Axel' Foley.

Munster ran out comfortable 32-7 winners to secure a winning bonus point and go three points clear at the top of Pool One
