Bradley relishing new Midleton role

Hugh Farrelly

FORMER Connacht coach Michael Bradley has returned to the game as technical assistant with All-Ireland League Division 2 side Midleton.

Terry Kingston is now director of rugby at the newly promoted East Cork club, replacing Hamish Adams, and he asked his former international team-mate and fellow Ireland captain to help out with the Midleton backline as they gear up for the new season.

"I know Terry a long time and was delighted to help out when he asked me," said Bradley. "It's an excellent set-up in Midleton and I expect to be working with them for around six weeks. It's good to keep my hand in."

Bradley was recently honoured with the Magners League Chairman's Award, recognising the work he put in over seven years work with Connacht.
