Munster has signed Queensland Reds' back Will Chambers on a short-term contract.
Coach Tony McGahan has bought in the 23-year-old Australian for cover while
his players are on World Cup duty in New Zealand.
The 6ft 3" Chambers left the Reds earlier this summer after two seasons.
He was the team's equal-leading tryscorer in 2010 but struggled this year to gain a place after indifferent performances.
Reds coach Ewen McKenzie admitted it was a tough decision to cut Chambers free.
"Will's been a good soldier for us," McKenzie said.
