IRELAND coach Mark Aston has recalled Leeds prop Luke Ambler for tomorrow's international against Wales in Neath.
Ambler, who spent the 2011 Super League season on loan to Harlequins, takes the place of Wakefield front rower Kyle Amor, who will lead Cumbria in their match against England Knights at Whitehaven tomorrow.
The other change to the side that lost 26-6 to Scotland in Glasgow last Sunday is the return of Sheffield Eagles winger Tim Bergin, who has completed a one-match suspension picked up in the Championship Grand Final and takes the place of Halifax's James Haley.
Sheffield stand-off Pat Smith has been added to the squad as cover for Paul Handforth, who sustained a knock in the Scotland game.
Eight members of the Irish squad began their careers in the domestic competition and impressed Aston in defeat by the Scots.
"The domestic lads were really good and have shown that they can cope at this level," said Aston. "We just got to learn as it's a learning curve for everybody."
