The experienced blindside flanker crossed for a rare brace of tries on Saturday as Clontarf scored an important bonus-point win over title rivals Shannon at Castle Avenue. The former Leinster man is hard to stop, and so it proved for the Limerick side, who allowed him cut through their defence twice in the second half.

One to watch

Corey Hircock (Garryowen)

His name sounds more Hollywood than Musgrave Park, but this Munster academy prospect showed why he's been getting time on the province's 'A' team with a try for Garryowen against Dolphin on Saturday. The former Exiles centre was recruited from Bedford Blues and has shown signs of being a smart investment.
