ail at a glance

Stephen Keogh (Shannon)

Cork Constitution don't usually get beaten on their home patch, but Keogh has restored some serious steel to the Shannon side since taking over and they sacked Temple Hill with a 14-10 win as they defended with their lives in the closing stages on Saturday.

A drop goal from Mossy Lawlor, followed by a Gareth Quinn-McDonagh penalty -- along with a try from full-back Luke O'Dea -- put them in position but it was their ferocious tackling that saw them over the line.

One to watch

Declan Cusack (Garryowen)

The Munster-contracted fly-half was described as "excellent" by coach Paul Cunningham after his performance on Saturday at Anglesea Road. At 23, he faces a tough job to oust the men ahead of him but, with four senior appearances to his name, he may not have to wait too long.

Number of the week
