RECAP ON YESTERDAY

Paddy Barnes (Boxing) - Shock loss in the light-flyweight preliminary rounds ends his Olympics.

Sinead Lynch and Clare Lambe (Rowing) - Eased into semi-finals of the lightweight double sculls after finishing in second.

Paul and Gary O’Donovan (Rowing) - Advanced to the semi-finals after winning their heat.

Clare Abbott, Jonty Evans, Mark Kyle, Padraig McCarthy (Equestrian)- Eventing team slipped to ninth after McCarthy’s fall in cross-country phase.

Annalise Murphy (Sailing)- In third overall of laser radials after winning first race and 14th in second.

Finn Lynch (Sailing) - Placed in 21st overall of men’s laser radials after first day.
