Irish sailor Annalise Murphy is one race from glory after another stellar day in the Laser Radial class in Rio.
Murphy finished sixth in race 9 and despite a shaky start the the final preliminary race, where she slipped down to 12th, she rebounded to come home in seventh position.
Today's results mean that she enters Monday's medal race in third position, behind the Dutch and Danish sailors.
Murphy will win an Olympic bronze medal on Monday if she finishes in the top five or unless she finishes five positions behind Belgian Evi van Acker. Ten sailors will take part in the final.
According to Murphy's Facebook page, if she finishes ahead of Dane Anne-Marie Rindom in the top five she will win silver, with the Dubliner needing to finish ahead of the Dane AND five places ahead of the Dutch leader in order to win gold.
