The O'Donovan brothers had a lot to live up to with their Late Late Show appearance tonight after their hilarious post-race interviews during the Rio games but once again, the Olympic silver medalists delivered.
The duo were in top form once again as they answered Ryan Tubridy's questions on a wide range of topics, but one particular story proved a hit with the audience.
Paul O'Donovan told RTE after their Olympic final that Michael Conlan promised to 'box the head off them' if they didn't win gold, but Gary revealed that he had trouble understanding the boxer.
Thankfully, another member of the Olympic team was on hand to act as an intermediary to ensure that everyone could communicate with each other.
"I'm actually glad he is not on with us because me and him don't understand each other," Gary told Tubridy.
"We would be down in the room in the apartment and when I talked Paddy Barnes would have to translate to Mick what I was saying and when he talked Paul would have to translate to me what he was saying."
