Sitting on +3 overnight, the Cavan golfer produced a 65 today consisting of seven birdies and just a solitary bogey.

It could have been even better for Maguire, who has twin sister Lisa on the bag, as she saw a number of birdie chances go a-begging towards the end of her round.

Maguire is six shots off the lead with two rounds to go and in the Top 25 on three under.

Ireland's other competitor in the event Stephanie Meadow shot a 66 today after a disappointing 77 on Wednesday and is one over in a tie for 38th.
