Colm McFadden Club: St Michael's ABSENCE: Missed the 2006 championship due to studies in Liverpool. He had tried commuting on a weekly basis for the League, but found his sharpness and fitness deserted him.

RETURN: Picked up form as St Michael's reached the

senior semi-finals in Donegal. He has scored 0-18 in the League to date.

Kevin Cassidy Club: Gweedore ABSENCE: Dropped for the league final against Louth, he was recalled for the replay, but had by then decided he wasn't returning and spent last summer in Boston.

half-back now forms a strong midfield partnership with Neil Gallagher and has scored 2-5 in this year's League. He looks a physically stronger player than before.

Brendan Devenney Club: St Eunan's ABSENCE: Years of toil in Ulster took their toll as he stepped out of football for 2006 season. Disillusioned, he spent the time playing soccer with Portdaown.

RETURN: When the call came Devenney answered and he has returned a refreshed player who has scored 0-20 in the campaign.
