Video: The moment Paul Kimmage took on Lance Armstrong on doping

THREE years ago Lance Armstrong lacerated Irish journalist Paul Kimmage when he asked him questions about doping in cycling.

The Sunday Times journalist, and former Tour de France cyclist, has repeatedly confronted Armstrong about the use of drugs in the sport.

After referring to Armstrong as a “cancer in cycling” the two had a memorable confrontation at a press conference before the 2009 Tour of California.

In his highly acclaimed book on his amateur and professional cycling career, ‘Rough Ride’, Dubliner Kimmage recounted his experiences as a domestique and drug use.
