Tennis: Sorensen in early exit

Thursday January 28 2010

Louk Sorensen was brought back down to earth yesterday following his heroics last week in the Australian Open when he crashed out in the opening round of the ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Heilbronn, Germany.

World No 284 Sorensen, who received a wild card this week, took two big scalps in the Australian Open.

However this time the form book stood up with Switzerland's 149-ranked Stephane Bohli clinching a place in the second round with an emphatic 6-2 6-3 victory.

Next up for Sorensen is the Challenger tournament in Kazan, Russia, where Conor Niland will also compete.
