Taylor eases into decider

KATIE TAYLOR is just four two-minute rounds away from winning her fourth European Union title in a row after producing a sublime performance to beat England's Chantelle Cameron in Poland yesterday.

The World and European lightweight champion hammered out a 28-10 verdict to record her third win in four days in Katowice.

Taylor was 5-2 up after the first, 12-4 ahead after the second and 20-7 in front after the third.

The Bray fighter will now meet Poland's Karolina Graczyk, whom she beat in the 2010 EU Championships, in the 60kg final today.

However, Laoise Traynor and Lauragh O'Neill both bowed out yesterday.

Traynor lost 20-8 to Marichelle de Jong of the Netherlands, while O'Neill dropped a 26-10 decision to Hungarian Timea Nagy.
