Sailing: O'Leary seals All-Ireland glory
Olympian Peter O'Leary won the annual ISA All-Ireland Sailing Championship on Lough Derg, adding his name to the 65-year silver salver for a second time and with a race to spare.
Sailing with his brother Robert and friend Robbie English, three race wins and two second places made the Star class helm the most consistent of the 24 nominees to the event that represent the field of national class champions.
O'Leary was one of a number of wild card nominations, along with London 2012 skiff sailor Ryan Seaton, from Ballyholme YC, on Belfast Lough.
However, it was a recently crowned junior champion who attracted most comment. Schull schoolboy Fionn Lyden placed second overall and has been tipped as a future winner of the "champion of champions" title.
