The medal hunt continues with Katie's final fight at the top of the bill

Today: Katie Taylor steps into the ring at 4.45pm to take on Russia's Sofya Ochigava in a fight for Olympic gold.

It's undoubtedly the biggest moment in the Bray woman's illustrious career -- a win will catapult her into the history books.

Deirdre Ryan is in action in the high jump (9.30am).

Claire Burgin, Michelle Carey, Marian Heffernan and Joanne Cuddihy are likely to be chosen to represent Team Ireland in the women's 4x400m relay (11.35am).

Tomorrow

Boxing semi-final between China's Zou Shiming and Paddy Barnes (1.30pm).

John Joe Nevin goes toe to toe against the current bantamweight world champion, Cuban Lazaro Alvarez Estrada (2pm).

The Mullingar man already has a bronze medal and this fight will undoubtedly prove his toughest test to date.

Belfast's Michael Conlan will face Cuba's Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana in a semi-final at 8.45pm.

Saturday

Rob Heffernan, Colin Griffin and Brendan Boyce all participate in the 50km walk (9am).

Laura Reynolds and Olive Loughnane take part in the 20km walk (5pm).

Sunday

Mark Kenneally competes in the men's marathon (11am).
