Hamilton and Rosberg on collision course

Lewis Hamilton has outlined a conundrum that Mercedes will find as difficult to navigate as the twists and turns of Monaco’s narrow streets this weekend.
The reigning champion concedes it is entirely possible he will collide with Nico Rosberg again.
If they do, sources in the team have indicated a preparedness to impose team orders, with both drivers’ and constructors’ world championships at stake.
But Hamilton’s veins feed a racer’s heart that will not countenance taming his competitive instincts, especially if it helped his greatest foe. Mercedes need all the luck in Monte Carlo to play this hand well.
The crash between the pair two weeks ago in Spain after only a few corners has increased the tension at Mercedes as they try to manage two drivers who refuse to be denied.
An intrusion into their private duel is likely to come from Red Bull, particularly Daniel Ricciardo. The 26-year-old has an upgraded Renault engine behind him and was blisteringly fast in practice.
