LIMERICK southpaw Andy Lee will fight in Denmark for the first time next month.
Ireland's only boxer at the 2004 Olympics will meet an opponent yet to be named in Esberg on April 12.
Lee was being lined up to challenge WBA World middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin at Madison Square Garden on April 26, but Golovkin withdrew from the fight following the death of his father.
Golovkin, whose brothers Sergey and Vadim were killed in action in the early '90s fighting for the Russian military, is in mourning for the traditional 40 days in Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, former Irish heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora traded insults yesterday as the countdown began to their final eliminator for the chance to relieve Wladimir Klitschko of his WBO world title.
The heavyweight rivals will clash at Manchester's phones4U Arena on July 26 in a rematch of their 2011 encounter, when an unfit Chisora was thwarted by a wide points decision.
