IRELAND have added 10 players to their squad ahead of Saturday's clash with Argentina at Croke Park, WRITES HUGH FARRELLY
The additional players have joined the 22 involved in Saturday's 22-3 defeat to New Zealand and, with Paul O'Connell nursing a dead leg, include three second rows, Ryan Caldwell, Malcolm O'Kelly and Bob Casey.
Ulster's Rory Best has a soft tissue injury and Leinster hooker Bernard Jackman is one of the 10 new additions to the squad.
There are two props added, Ulster's Tom Court and Harlequins' Mike Ross.
Leinster winger Shane Horgan is also named and is in the reckoning for a recall against Argentina if Rob Kearney moves to full-back. Leicester's Geordan Murphy is another who will have selection aspirations. The other players named are Connacht utility back Gavin Duffy and Ulster winger/centre Andrew trimble.
