Tullymurry Act was the star performer in the second round of the Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park on Saturday and he remains the 7/2 second favourite behind Tyrur Enda (2/1) in the outright betting list issued by Cashmans.
Tullymurry Act was in front by the bend and was then lengths clear entering the back straight. From here it was a procession as Tullymurry Act moved right away to win by six lengths from Huckabees Kid in 28.26.
Tyrur Enda wasn't as impressive as he normally is but he showed immediately in front and raced on to win by two and a half lengths from Honchos Key in 28.52.
Owen McKenna had a fine double on the night with Tubbertelly Dubh flashing clear to the bend and running on strongly to win in 28.43. The double was completed as Lorraine Moore's Pablo Supreme romped home in 28.77.
Sevenheads Bay showed that he is going to take some beating as he took it up between the final bends to win in 28.70. Graham Holland, who trains Sevenheads Bay, landed the Droopys Stud Munster Oaks at Waterford when Calling Spice crossed in 28.35.
