Despite one of the greatest non-Derby programmes of recent times listed for Shelbourne tonight, priority this weekend goes to the final of the Red Mills Produce Stakes which will be run tomorrow evening at Clonmel.

Colourful Bolt, trained in Kilmacow by Michael Delahunty for English owner Steve Locke, is bidding to maintain an unbeaten record through the Classic. He has been most impressive in each round with emphatic victories.

He is bidding to give owner and trainer a double in the Classic, having already collected with Dukes Special two years back.

While Colourful Bolt would appreciate an inside draw, he has the pace to clear the bend and race to victory.

He will have to clear Bit View Micko, Whiteys Hawk and Broadstrand Dan on his inside to the bend, while Uncle Eoin will go up strongly on the outside and has real prospects. That leaves us with St Louis Charlie which will be doing his best work late.

It is open competition all the way at Shelbourne on a spectacular card and the big one is the Hegarty Bookmakers 600.

Dolores Ruth's Kingo was fastest in the opening round and has every chance of scoring again in the second heat, where Tyrur Carey could make him work hard.

Otherwise it could be another big night for Conor Fahy's Tyrurs, with Domingo and O Gorman fancied for their heats.

Domingo has a bad draw, but he has massive pace and can overcome Whatsupjack in the third heat, while Tyrur O Gorman can lead home Fatboyz Tyson in the fourth.

The other heat can be won by Fraser Black's bitch Lady Lucielle, with Droopys Joe and What A Tornado also qualifying.

The Healthcare & Transport Puppy Oaks is a high quality event, but unfortunately the fancied Local Flyer will be an absentee. This clears the way for a clash of Razldazl Lily and Droopys Twirl in the third heat.

Tubbertelly Dubh will have his work cut out in the final heat of the Dunne Open 525 with the likes of Deerfield Music and Leeview Jet in opposition.

The battle to the bend between Tubbertelly and Leeview could be very close and Deerfield will unleash his pace down the far side.
