Schumacher is continuing his recovery after a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013. He remains immobile, can't speak and has a team of 15 medical staff caring for him at a special medical suite at his mansion in Switzerland.

His agent Sabine Kehm warned that people “must always keep the seriousness of his injuries in mind”.

Schumacher spent several months fighting for his life in a coma following the crash, but last June was transferred from a hospital in the French town of Grenoble to a Swiss hospital after regaining consciousness.

He returned home to Gland on Lake Geneva in September 2014 for further rehabilitation.

The Express reports that Schumacher's rehabilitation costs are €140,000 a week, while the total cost since the accident 17 months ago has soared past €14m.

Earlier this month Corinna Schumacher has sold her husband's €34m jet and is considering selling their chalet in France according to reports in Germany.

A sales clerk by profession, Corinna has taken over the management of her husband's €700m business empire and is set to be considering selling their chalet in Merebel, the scene of the Formula One icon's horrific ski accident.
