High Performance Manager Ginny Elliott has selected six horse-and-rider combinations and the Bandon couple, riding Ballylynch and Adventure and Fernhill Clover Mist, have been listed alongside Mark Kyle (Step in Time), Elizabeth Power (Kilpatrick River), Sam Watson (Horseware Bushman) and Camilla Spiers (Portersize Just a Jiff).

The Ryan duo secured top-20 placings at last weekend's 4-Star event in Luhmuehlen, Germany, while Watson and Spiers finished in 13th and 14th places respectively at the world-famous Badminton event in England last month.

Power was a member of last year's European Championship side, while Kyle is a seasoned veteran.

Just five of the six will travel to the WEG and Elliott pointed out yesterday that the squad will need to maintain form as other riders with good performances may be added to the list.
