Rising show jumping star Alexander Butler (23) finished third in yesterday's Grand Prix at 3-Star Lummen in Belgium where he won the feature event a week earlier.
Again riding Harold McGahern's Will Wimble, the Meath rider produced one of 10 first-round clears and then produced the fastest time against the clock. But a pole down in the jump-off saw him having to settle for third, while Holland's Maikel van der Vleuten claimed victory.
Shane Breen steered Camblin into the runner-up spot in the 1.50m International in which Paddy O'Donnell and Harristown Princess, winners of Friday's Speed class, finished 10th.
Irish pony riders stamped their authority at Fontainbleau, France.
Tom Foley (Dibidoe), Eoin McMahon (Homeflight), Roisin Kenny (Blessington Grange Mist) and Emma O'Dwyer (Jacknell Street) won Saturday's Nations Cup and then O'Dwyer, Foley and McMahon took the top three places in one of yesterday's Grand Prix classes while Matt Garrigan (Dr Spot) won another.
Double victories were also recorded by Foley (Crown Jewel) and Graham Golden (Tequila Twist), while Cara Mooney won a six-year-old class.
